This series utilises a standard 5V high-speed CMOS architecture; the AC series operates at general-purpose CMOS levels, whilst the ACT series is compatible with TTL levels, enabling it to adapt to aerospace control systems with different interface levels and offering exceptional compatibility.

 

In terms of core performance parameters, the devices’ operating supply voltage range spans 2 V to 6 V, balancing low-voltage energy efficiency with stable operation at standard high voltages; the operating temperature range extends from –55 °C to +150 °C, making them perfectly suited to harsh operating conditions such as extreme temperature fluctuations in space and high-temperature, enclosed environments on board spacecraft. Radiation tolerance is a key highlight of the series; with a Total Ionising Dose (TID) radiation tolerance of up to 300 krad(Si). II. 54HC/HCT Radiation-Hardened High-Speed Logic Series

As part of the general-purpose high-speed CMOS radiation-hardened product line, it emphasises balanced performance, high reliability and broad adaptability. Widely used in conventional aerospace, military vehicle applications and high-reliability industrial scenarios, it is one of the most widely deployed radiation-hardened logic series. Unlike the 54AC/ACT series, which is positioned at the high end of the market, this series strikes a balance between performance and cost, making it suitable for the development of equipment operating in moderate radiation environments.

In terms of electrical characteristics, this series also utilises a 5V high-speed CMOS process, with a supply voltage range of 2V to 6V—identical to the 54AC/ACT series—and offers wide voltage compatibility; With an operating temperature range of –55 °C to +150 °C, it offers excellent resistance to both high and low temperatures, meeting the requirements of the vast majority of standard military and aerospace operating conditions. In terms of radiation performance, the Total Ionising Dose (TID) tolerance is 50 krad(Si).
